About Our Inn
The discriminating B&B Inn-goers and newcomers alike will find the experiences and romance of a country inn at the Foxfield Inn, from sipping fine Virginia wines upon your arrival to relaxing in our soothing hot tub and in-room Jacuzzis. The Inn is completely smoke-free and pet-free environment in all guest areas. The entire Inn is on one floor. All areas are air conditioned. In addition t A basket of menus from area restaurants with recommendations from your hosts will ensure a dining experience to match your mood and budget. In the coffee bar, fresh gourmet coffee is available each morning. Homemade cookies, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn for the microwave are available all day and night. Our guest refrigerator is stocked with bottled water.
Our eight person Hot Springs® spa awaits you for relaxation and rejuvenation on one of our outside patios. The spa is available throughout the year and is constantly at 99 to 101 degrees depending on the season. Robes are available in each guest room. Spa is open year around 7:00AM until 11:00 PM.
Our most popular common area, the Sunroom offers a casual respite with cable television, DVD player and daily copies of The Washington Post and Charlottesville's Daily Progress. Internet dialup connection is available in the Sunroom. Free wireless Internet (802.11b/g) connection (your laptop must have wireless capability) is available in Sunroom and some other areas of the Inn.
Our breakfast is served to you in the Dining Room each day at 8:30 Monday - Saturday and 9:00 on Sunday. We serve a choice of juices, a fresh fruit course followed by a bakery selection fresh from the oven. A hot entree' is served, different each day, such as an egg dish such as eggs benedict, specialty pancakes, waffles or omelet along with hot coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. We are more than happy to accommodate special dietary needs with advance notice.
The porch in the guest room wing, the two patios, and screened teahouse offer places for to relax and enjoy the country fresh air and waterfall in our lily pond. Power outages will not interfere with your stay - we have a whole house generator standing by ready to seamlessly provide all the power needed to continue without interruption.
